Picking up several dozen masks hand made

On april 15, by all accounts was a win especially under current circumstances! The day started picking up several dozen masks hand made by Alexis Luu and Her helper Jamie Grbic. 100% of the total proceeds were donated by Alexis to our Palmas Animal Welfare…definitely a win for our Palmas community. The masks along with some remaining shields and sanitizer were then donated by Coqui Charities to the Kidney Center of Rio Mar, Cartiology Center in Isla Verde, the Pravan Wellness Center in Santurce and the ER at Pavia Hospital. Proper social distancing and protocol was practiced at all times. All in all it was a very rewarding day. Thanks to all who got involved. Together we can truly make a difference.

We would like to highlight the acquisition of these masks from Alexis Luu, who contributed with the 100% of total revenue to the Palmas Animal Welfare. The mask together with some remaining shields and sanitizer were donated to the Kidney Center of Rio Mar, Cardilogy Center in Isla Verde, the Pravan Wellness Center in Santurce and the ER at Pavia Hospital. 8,000 FDA approved N95 masks

Coquí Charities just acquired 8,000 FDA approved N95 masks of which 3,960 are still available. We are offering these for $3.50/ for minimum of 50. They are currently in Humacao (not China) and are ready for immediate delivery. If interested please contact Cristy Montalvo at 787-922-1771.

EC Waste and the Rotary Club of Santurce

Coqui Charities is pleased to report that our team comprised of EC Waste and the Rotary Club of Santurce was able to procure desperately needed NIOSH certified N95 masks and face shields for the ER at the UPR Dr. Federico Trilla Hospital in Carolina.  We have also committed to purchase an additional 100k masks which we hope to distribute to others to help protect our heroes.  Anyone who would like to help please go to coquicharities.com to donate.  Together we can make a difference!
