From POP to Opera 2024

In October 2024, Coquí Charities presented the second edition of “From Pop to Opera”, a unique musical event featuring an exquisite variety of genres, including opera, zarzuela, symphonic, and popular music.

The 2024 edition showcased the extraordinary voice of Doris Muñoz, with special guest performances by Rafael Dávila, Hermelindo Ruiz, Evelyn Saavedra, Alfredo Martirena, the Camera Pops Orchestra conducted by Emanuel Olivieri, and the EEBA School Chorus under the direction of Fabiana González.

All proceeds from the concert were donated to La Escuela Especializada en Bellas Artes in Humacao (EEBA) – the only public school specializing in the arts in the eastern region of Puerto Rico.
